Bedtime with the Beasts
at the Oakland Zoo on Saturday, November 4.

Spend a fun-filled night enjoying the Oakland Zoo in a very special experience - camping out with the wild things!

Bring your den to the Oakland Zoo for a night full of adventure and fun! These large group overnights are designed to accommodate several Cub Scout dens or one large pack. Explore the Zoo on a private evening tour, enjoy a light snack, participate in activities centered around your theme, and meet one of our education animals up-close. When it's time for bed, you'll head down to the auditorium to sleep. In the morning, enjoy a tasty continental breakfast, pack up, and head back into the zoo to observe the animals as they wake. It's an experience you'll never forget!

It has not been determined yet if we are camping in the meadow or sleeping in the auditorium

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will host Boy Scouts (includes Cub Scouts) Overnighter Oct 13/14.

You bring your tent and sleep inside the Boardwalk.

This is a very popular event. With this type of event, it is very difficult to camp as a Pack since there is no group assignments. Generally, we try to camp in the lower level by Cave Train area. It provides the best wind protection.

2016 Stanford Football Scout Days

posted Sep 23, 2016, 8:00 PM by Richard Gee   [ updated Sep 23, 2016, 8:03 PM ]

Saturday, 10/22 vs. Colorado
· All scouts will enter the field pregame to hold a giant American flag during the National Anthem
o This requires all participants to attend the rehearsal, which begins 3.5 hours prior to kick-off. After the rehearsal, I would recommend attending Fan Fest, which will have food trucks, face painting, football toss and numerous other activities. We will then reconvene 30 minutes prior to kick-off to get lined up for the ceremony.
o One parent/chaperone + one scout may participate
o “Swag bag” for all scouts

Cost $30 per ticket, Make Check payable to Pack 80. Turn in at Pack meeting on 9/26

Game Times – The Pac-12’s television agreement allows for a game time announcement of 10-14 days before the game. Recent negotiations have led to the reduction of 7:30pm game times and have been replaced with 3:30pm and 6:00pm kick-off times
